You’re not imagining this

Does This Sound Like You?

Your Weight Won’t Budge.

You’ve cut calories, added movement, stayed consistent for months. The scale hasn’t moved.

Often thyroid, insulin, or cortisol patterns driving resistance. A Naturopathic Doctor maps what's working against you, then plans around it.

01 / 06

Tired and Hungry All the Time.

You eat, you’re still hungry two hours later. You sleep eight hours, you wake drained.

Often blood sugar, cortisol, and thyroid rhythms behind the pattern, not willpower. A Naturopathic Doctor maps the metabolic picture.

02 / 06

Your Thyroid Panel Came Back Fine.

TSH ’in range,’ but you feel cold, foggy, and stuck.

Often Free T3, reverse T3, or thyroid antibodies tell a different story than TSH. A Naturopathic Doctor orders the broader panel.

03 / 06

Every Diet Works for a Week. Then Stops.

You’ve tried keto, low-fat, intermittent fasting. Each one works briefly, then plateaus.

Often insulin resistance, stress load, or sleep deprivation behind the plateau. A Naturopathic Doctor investigates upstream before recommending any plan.

04 / 06

You’ve Been Told It’s Just Age or Stress.

Forties hit and suddenly the same lifestyle isn’t working.

Often perimenopause, midlife thyroid shifts, or adrenal patterns. A Naturopathic Doctor maps the hormonal picture behind the change.

05 / 06

You Wake Up Bloated. You Go to Bed Bloated.

Your stomach stays distended all day. Clothes feel tight by mid-morning.

Often gut health driving how the body handles food and stores fat. A Naturopathic Doctor investigates digestion, food reactivity, and microbiome patterns.

If any of these sound like you, a free 15-minute call is the lowest-commitment place to start.

Step 01

Your First Appointment

A full 60-minute session built around listening. Your Naturopathic Doctor takes the time to understand your history, symptoms, and everything you’ve already tried. This visit is about mapping where you are before any plan is built.

02
Step 02

Lab Work

Your Naturopathic Doctor identifies the markers most relevant to your case and provides a recommendation letter outlining what to test and why. The letter supports your care plan and is yours to use as part of your bloodwork.

Step 03

Building Your Personalized Care Plan

A focused 30-minute follow-up to review your progress and walk through lab results. Your Naturopathic Doctor explains what is moving, what is not, and adjusts the plan around the leverage points that are actually shifting.

How approaches compare

Why Standard Approaches Fall Short.

Most weight-loss approaches treat the symptom (the scale) instead of the drivers. A naturopathic investigation maps the metabolic, hormonal, and gut patterns first, then builds a plan around what’s actually keeping things stuck.

Calorie restriction

Eat Less, Move More

The standard advice. Works for some, fails most who already struggle. Doesn’t account for the metabolic, hormonal, and gut patterns that drive weight resistance.

What we investigate

  • Doesn’t address insulin resistance
  • Misses thyroid contribution
  • Ignores cortisol and sleep
  • Doesn’t differentiate root cause

Common questions

  • Why isn’t restriction working anymore?
  • Is my metabolism damaged?
Generic fitness plans

Cardio + Lifting

Fitness app workouts and standard gym programs. Helpful, but blind to where you are hormonally, where your recovery capacity actually sits, and what’s blocking adaptation.

What we investigate

  • Doesn’t account for HPA axis
  • Ignores cycle and hormonal phase
  • Misses recovery limits
  • One-size-fits-all approach

Common questions

  • Why am I more tired after working out?
  • Should I be lifting at this stage?
Tracking apps

Macros and Calories

Macro tracking and food journaling. Builds awareness, but addresses symptom rather than cause. Doesn’t tell you why your body is holding on.

What we investigate

  • Surface-level data only
  • No hormonal or metabolic insight
  • Can drive disordered patterns
  • Doesn’t read what your body is signalling

Common questions

  • Why isn’t a deficit working?
  • Am I eating wrong, or is something else going on?

What we investigate

  • Free T3/T4/rT3, thyroid antibodies
  • Fasting insulin and HbA1c
  • Cortisol rhythm assessment
  • Sex hormone and gut workup

Common questions

  • What’s actually driving my plateau?
  • Where do I start?
