You’re not alone

Does This Sound Like You?

Anxiety That Came Out of Nowhere.

It started in your 30s or 40s. No clear life reason. Your therapist is doing what they can.

Often thyroid shifts, blood sugar instability, hormonal changes, or nutrient deficiencies. A Naturopathic Doctor investigates these alongside your existing mental health care.

01 / 06

Brain Fog That Won’t Lift.

Words don’t come. Attention is fragmented. You feel slower than you used to.

Often thyroid, blood sugar, B12, iron, or inflammation patterns. A Naturopathic Doctor investigates the cognitive drivers.

02 / 06

You’re Burned Out and Can’t Recover.

Years of depletion. You used to bounce back. Even a vacation doesn’t reset you.

Often HPA axis dysregulation, thyroid changes, or chronic inflammation. A Naturopathic Doctor maps what's keeping you depleted.

03 / 06

Your Mood Is Tied to Your Cycle.

Premenstrual depression. PMDD. Mood swings that arrive on schedule.

Often hormonal fluctuations affecting serotonin and GABA. A Naturopathic Doctor maps hormones, B vitamins, and nutrient gaps.

04 / 06

Sleep Won’t Come Even Though You’re Exhausted.

Tired but wired. Lying awake at 3am. Mind racing when your body is collapsed.

Often cortisol rhythm dysregulation, low magnesium, blood sugar instability, or thyroid issues. A Naturopathic Doctor investigates the drivers behind chronic insomnia.

05 / 06

You’re Already Seeing a Therapist or Psychiatrist.

You’re doing the work. Therapy and meds are in place. The biological layer hasn’t been mapped.

Often nutritional, hormonal, and inflammatory contributors. A Naturopathic Doctor adds that layer alongside your existing care, never instead of it.

Step 01

Your First Appointment

A full 60-minute session built around listening. Your Naturopathic Doctor takes the time to understand your symptom history, sleep, energy, mood, prior workups, and everything you’ve already tried. This visit is about mapping where you are before any plan is built.

60 min

02
Step 02

Lab Work

Your Naturopathic Doctor identifies the markers most relevant to your case and provides a recommendation letter outlining what to test and why. The letter supports your care plan and is yours to use as part of your bloodwork.

03
Step 03

Building Your Personalized Care Plan

Your second appointment is where the somatic plan takes shape. Your Naturopathic Doctor explains the thyroid, blood sugar, cortisol, and nutrient patterns showing up, then builds a plan that complements your existing mental health care.

04
Step 04

Ongoing Monitoring

Short check-ins to track how your plan is working. Your Naturopathic Doctor adjusts nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle pieces as you progress, and may recommend additional lab work to see how things are shifting.

Patterns we investigate

What’s Underneath Mood and Anxiety.

Mood and anxiety are signals, not just diagnoses. Naturopathic investigation maps the cortisol, thyroid, nutrient, and inflammatory patterns that often sit underneath. Each pattern has its own labs, and its own care plan.

HPA axis pattern

Wired and Tired

Anxious during the day, exhausted at night, can’t sleep but can’t get up. The HPA axis can produce this exact paradox. Cortisol patterns matter, not just morning values.

What we investigate

  • Cortisol rhythm assessment
  • Sleep architecture review
  • Adaptogenic herb consideration
  • Stress recovery strategies

Common questions

  • Why am I anxious all day and exhausted at night?
  • Is this adrenal fatigue?
Thyroid pattern

Cold, Foggy, Slow

Mood and cognitive symptoms commonly track with thyroid dysfunction that standard TSH testing misses. Free T3, reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies tell a fuller story.

What we investigate

  • Full thyroid panel beyond TSH
  • Thyroid antibody screening
  • Iodine, selenium, zinc status
  • Coordinate with endocrinologist

Common questions

  • Could this be my thyroid?
  • What does a full thyroid panel include?
Nutrient pattern

Mood Swings and Fatigue

Neurotransmitters require nutrient cofactors. B12, B6, magnesium, vitamin D, iron, and omega-3 deficiencies are common contributors to mood and anxiety patterns.

What we investigate

  • B12, B6, folate (active forms)
  • Magnesium and vitamin D
  • Ferritin (iron storage)
  • Omega-3 index

Common questions

  • Could a deficiency cause anxiety?
  • Should I be on omega-3?
Inflammatory pattern

Brain Fog and Cognitive Drag

Systemic inflammation crosses the blood-brain barrier and contributes to mood and cognitive symptoms. Identifying upstream contributors (gut, lifestyle) often unlocks progress.

What we investigate

  • hs-CRP, homocysteine
  • Gut barrier and microbiome assessment
  • Food reactivity investigation
  • Anti-inflammatory protocol design

Common questions

  • Why am I always foggy?
  • Could my gut be affecting my mood?
